Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ (Beautifully Written, But A Tough read kinda  Weak)

Jennifer L. Armentrout is undeniably a talented writer—she crafts gorgeous prose and builds fascinating worlds. Because of that, I really wanted to love this one, but I ultimately gave it 3 stars because I personally had a hard time getting through it.

What Worked (and What Didn't):

The Writing Style: There is no denying the author writes beautifully. The talent on the page is clear from the start.

The Roadblock: For me, the names in the book were kind of hard to pronounce, which made it a bit tougher to sink smoothly into the flow of the story. Of course, it could have entirely just been my mindset for that week!

Final Verdict:

Even though it was a bit of a slower climb for me, it's still a well-crafted piece from an author known for sweeping fantasy. If you're a die-hard fan of her work, it's worth checking out—just maybe pick a week when your reading brain is firing on all cylinders!
